Canadian charm brands

pleased Canada Day!  In honour of Canada Day, today I’ll showcase some Canadian brands as well as a few items I own from each. Lise Watier (Shoppers medication Mart, online) LW made her name first of all with her signature perfume, Neiges (which I don’t especially care for) however has because branched out to colour cosmetics as well as skincare.  I’ve grown fond of her lipsticks, eye shadows, as well as concealer. Annabelle (drugstores, online) A Montreal-based brand that provides high high quality products at drugstore prices. I like their eye shadows as well as blushes – they’re extremely similar to MAC....

Procrastinating appeal blogger identify

I saw this identify a while back on The Life of Kristyn – just goes to show how I much of a procrastinator I am, considering that I’m finally posting it a lot more than 3 months later! 1. name a appeal routine that you rarely do? Pluck my eyebrows. but it isn’t from laziness, it’s from the lack of need… or hairs. My eyebrows are naturally quite sparse so I actually never went through that phase where I over-plucked them and they never grew back appropriately like everyone else did.  I did walk around looking like an alien for...

Shiseido facial cotton and possible dupes?

I’m a facial cotton snob. It wasn’t always this way, but ever since I tried my first package of Shiseido Facial Cotton, I haven’t looked back.  Let me qualify that – I don’t use Shiseido Facial Cotton exclusively – I only use it for removing my eye makeup.  The pillowy softness of this cotton is especially appreciated against the delicate skin around the eyes.  Now when I use non-Shiseido cottons on my eye area, I feel like I’m using sandpaper (I exaggerate, but really, like 80-grit).  For everything else – toner, exfoliants, nail polish removal – I use other cottons. I...

Project focus 10: L’Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara

lucky #7 of the job focus 10 evaluation is L’Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara: I’ve tried quite much every mascara L’Oreal has ever released since I’m still trying to discover a replacement to my cherished – however discontinued – L’Oreal Bare Naturale mascara. Does this do it for me? Firstly, I must encourage that I’ve had this mascara sitting in my stock in its bundle for over a year before I opened it. I’m not sure if having it for that long impacted its performance.  It usually retails for around $16 however I gotten mine on sale for around $10 (is...

How Do You deal with Your charm Budget?

missing this thug a lot today! Lately, I’ve been listening to podcasts about financial literacy, and consequently, I’ve been thinking about how people deal with their charm budgets. I read in an short article recently that says on average, women spend $313 a month and men spend $244 on charm products. I’m not really amazed at those amounts, though, seeing how it’s easy to go there if you’re shopping at places like Sephora. ADVERTISEMENT Anywho, I’m trying to be much more purposeful with the charm products I buy, and so I’m taking stock of my spending habits. I’ve discovered that...
